GENTLEMAN’S RIDE 2026: A symphony of engines in the Warnow Tunnel

It’s that time of year again for what is arguably the most elegant motorcycle event of the year! This coming Sunday, May 17, 2026, the Warnow Tunnel will once again be filled with the sound of a very special “orchestra of engines.” The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) is making its way to the Hanseatic city once more and will pass through our toll station on its route through Rostock.

What is the Gentleman’s Ride?

The DGR is far more than just a motorcycle ride. Since its inception in 2012, the event has evolved into a global initiative in which tens of thousands of riders—dressed in classic attire ranging from tweed suits and fine vests to neatly trimmed mustaches—climb onto their retro bikes.
The goal: to raise awareness and funds for men’s health, particularly for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.

The Route Through Our Hanseatic City

This year, too, the parade will take participants through the entire city. The gleaming procession is expected to set off from Rostock’s city harbor and roll past the city’s landmarks. A special highlight will be the ride through the Warnow Tunnel, where the roar of the classic bikes will send shivers down your spine before the ride continues toward Warnemünde.

Impressive Commitment

The scale of this magnificent event never ceases to impress year after year. Since its inception, over $50 million has been raised worldwide for a good cause. In Rostock, we are once again expecting a large number of participants this year, who will come together to send a powerful message of solidarity and prevention.

Join in and Support

It’s not too late: You can still register to ride or support the Rostock Ride with a donation. Every contribution counts toward advancing research into men’s health issues and saving lives.
