We are pleased that the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride will be back in our Hanseatic city on Sunday, 19 May 2024. The Warnowtunnel will welcome the numerous motorcyclists in fine suits at the toll station.
What is the Gentleman’s Ride? This unrivalled event takes place at the same time all over the world. Bikers from over 100 countries come together locally to ride in motorbike parades through well-known cities, draw attention to the important issue of men’s health and collect donations. The traditional suits, which turn the participants into real gentlemen and gentlewomen, and the predominantly older motorbikes are an important characteristic.
The dimensions of this great event are very impressive. Over USD 50 million has been raised since 2012. This year alone, almost 90,000 participants are registered worldwide. As of today, 79 participants are registered in Rostock. This year’s race will once again take the bikers through the entire city centre. From the starting point at Neuer Markt, the route will take them through the city centre, Südstadt, Gartenstadt, Reutershagen, Evershagen, Lütten Klein, the Warnowtunnel, Groß Klein and all the way to Warnemünde.
