The Warnow Tunnel would like to provide further information about the changes to the “Oscard” tunnel card. Since October 1, 2025, it is no longer possible to top up the card at the ticket counters. Instead, we now recommend that all users of a cash-rechargeable Oscard switch to the free direct debit system.
Direct debit is the fastest and easiest payment option at the Warnow Tunnel. Instead of having to think about your remaining credit every time you pass through, billing is automatic and convenient in the background. This not only saves time, but also stress. No queuing to top up your tunnel card at the cash desk, no lane changes, and always credit on your card.
You can easily switch your card online at www.warnowquerung.de/bestellen. There, you can quickly fill out an application with the corresponding SEPA mandate and send it to us. Friendly colleagues at the tunnel are available in the customer center to provide advice and assistance if you would like to visit us on site. After the changeover, the card can be used in exactly the same way as before. Only the method of topping up changes. Any existing credit balance will of course remain.
With the new customer account, you retain full control over your costs. We will only debit your account once you have used up the equivalent of three trips. Our customer portal also provides you with helpful information: invoices, the number and times of your trips (detailed trip report), and your remaining credit balance.
