The Warnowtunnel would like to suggest program tip for free-to-air television. Yesterday, on 16.05.2023 at 20:15, the tunnel was the subject of a report by MDR.
The program “MDR Umschau” covers the economy, consumers and social issues and tells stories from the reality of people’s lives. Yesterday’s edition focused, among other things, on a conventional technology that has proven itself so much in certain areas that it is still in use today and may even be preserved in the future. On display was a perfect example from Rostock: the Warnowtunnel with its impressive pneumatic tube system. The reportage is available for free in the media store of the MDR and on the MDR website.
