Warnowquerung GmbH & Co. KG announces that the Warnow Tunnel will be completely closed for important scheduled and safety-related tests on the nights from 11 November 2025 to 13 November 2025. The closures will take place between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night. Please note the additional signage at the tunnel entrances.
These intensive, legally required night-time inspections of the tunnel and traffic control technology are essential to ensure the continued safety and functionality of the tunnel. During these tests, important technical systems such as lighting, ventilation, traffic control technology and other safety systems are checked and tested. These measures help to maintain the high safety standards of the Warnow Tunnel. In order to minimise the impact on daily traffic, the tests are carried out at night. However, we kindly ask you to use an alternative route during the above-mentioned times.
