From September 1 to 5, scheduled work will be carried out in the Warnow Tunnel as part of the annual maintenance week. During this time, the tunnel will operate in alternating traffic in each tube and will remain open and usable in both directions at all times. Please note the signage indicating the changed traffic routing.
Annual maintenance is essential to maintain the safety and functionality of the complex tunnel technology. During the week-long maintenance period, all systems and sensors will be checked and serviced, the roadway will be inspected, and tests of the tunnel technology will be carried out. This ensures that the Warnow Tunnel remains one of the safest traffic routes in the state.
